Palette Pilot Privacy Policy

Local extension data

Picked colors, saved palettes, folders, semantic tokens, preferences, a randomly generated installation identifier, and an activated Pro license key are stored locally in your browser. Image palette extraction is processed locally and images are not uploaded. When you explicitly run page palette extraction, Palette Pilot reads visible computed color styles and CSS color variables from the active page to create a local palette; page content and browsing history are not sent to us.

Pro licensing data

When you activate or validate Palette Pilot Pro, the extension sends the license key, random installation identifier, and extension version to our Cloudflare-hosted licensing service. The service stores cryptographic hashes of license keys and installation identifiers rather than the original values.

For license administration, we also store the purchase email, lifetime plan, license status, Stripe customer and transaction identifiers, activation timestamps, and the last four license-key characters. This data is used only to provide, secure, and support Pro access.

Payments and service providers

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, email address, and fraud-prevention signals under the Stripe Privacy Policy.

We use Cloudflare to host the licensing API and database, and Stripe to process payments, refunds, and disputes. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.

Your choices and retention

You can deactivate an installation from the extension, remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling or clearing extension storage, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of licensing data. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

I reserve the right to update or change the privacy policy at any time. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
